Batik Patchwork

This is one of a kind piece
of patchwork table cloth;
it is not only hand sewn,
but I hand made the fabric prints myself too!

I made this batik fabric prints
during a hands-on workshop...
Batik is a fabric dyeing method using hot wax
to create pattern & design.
I used the block printed batik wooden stamp
with simple pattern,
floral & geometrical motif.

I hope you like this special piece of table cloth...
and Happy Sewing!

Bojagi Project No.3 in progress

Yes! This is my No.3 Bojagi project
...hopefully you do remember
about my long distance bojagi sewing class
with Ms.Youngmin Lee.

This project is a much larger piece,
as compared to the first and second project;
which is the pincushion & coaster...
I have to carefully pieced each square
in the correct sequence,
it is tedious project, but fun indeed!

I think my stitches are getting better, and better!
I just love the colours of the Korean silk fabric...
will be finishing this project soon.
Have a wonderful day!
&
Happy sewing!

A Beautiful Doily

Another simple project
a beautiful piece of doily...
combination of fabric + hand crocheted lace.

In the past, I had sewn many handmade coaster
using this cotton linen fabric...
because I simply love the simple prints of the trees.

I decided to make this piece a little different...
the hand crocheted lace are much extended,
so it becomes a larger piece.
It makes a perfect doily!
